This is something that I find truly aggravating. As many people know, there was a very large earthquake in Haiti earlier this week and now as President Obama is sending aid to Haiti, he is receiving criticism for doing so. Now I am wondering what these same people felt about the aid that was given to the United States for events such as Hurricane Katrina or September 11th. I am wondering if they feel that then President Bush should have given that money back or are they all to happy to receive a handout without returning the favor when a nation as poverty struck as Haiti is in need of it. All of this points to the larger issue of the Conservative motto: “Give to those without need. For those with need, let them rot until they learn to acquire wealth for themselves.”To those who wish to bear witness to the mind and thoughts of a free-thinker; a sheep that has become the shepherd to fight against social indoctrination, control, self-deprivation, and social conformity.
